Counts, reorder points and the gap between them
Retailers rarely lose money because they cannot see a stock number. They lose it because the number is a week old, or because the reorder decision lives in one person's head. OPZAIQ keeps the count per store, with a reorder point on each line, so the reorder list writes itself from the last count rather than from memory.
When a delivery arrives short or substituted, the count and the supplier invoice are reconciled at that moment, which is the only time anyone still remembers what was in the box.

Per store, not per group
Stock belongs to the store holding it. That sounds obvious, but it is what makes reorder points and expiry countdowns useful: a line that is comfortable at one site can be about to run out at another, and a group-level average hides both.
Common questions
Does OPZAIQ decrement stock as items sell?
No. OPZAIQ is not connected to the till, so stock levels come from counts, deliveries and write-offs. For most small groups a disciplined count cycle is more accurate than a perpetual figure that has drifted for months.
Can I import my product list?
Lines are added per store and can be copied when a new site opens, so a group product list only has to be built once.
How does this relate to expiry tracking?
Counts tell you how much you hold; batches tell you how long it is good for. Both live on the same stock line, which is why short-dated stock shows up before a stocktake finds it.
